i love cooking!!! and eating, as you can see haha

i do tend to eat massive amounts. and often slack on the working out unfortunately.. but i’ve been blessed with an incredible metabolism (thanks mom & dad & universe) and i’m really not as fit as you think i am. clothing does wonders to hide my problem areas.. (go away lower belly chub! GO AWAY)

but also i DO try to force myself to work out on a semi-regular basis. before tradeshow season i was going to bikram yoga every day. now that the craziness has died down somewhat i’m going to start again! 90 minutes in a 105 degree room constantly doing yoga will make you feel like you’re going to die but tone you up and make you feel amazing after! i recommend it to anyone who hasn’t yet tried. i’ve dragged a bunch of my friends there with me, and will keep dragging people with me until i have no one left to bring. it’s really such an amazing emotional and physical work out!

and i try to limit myself to only ONE splurge meal a day (usually supper). so for breakfast i’ll have a smoothie and maybe some granola and yogurt or a granola bar or something like that, and then for lunch a sandwich or soup or salad.. and then i get to eat my little piggy heart out for dinner. also weekends are health-food free zones for the most part.

90 minutes of sweaty, strenuous, hellish Bikram yoga this morning.

then greek yogurt with pineapple chunks and a vita coco for breakfast.

it might not be olympic training but it’s a good start towards being a better, healthier me.
