if you can/want to splurge, i find that canada goose has the WARMEST and most cozy jackets. other than that, BB Dakota has great, warm, stylish coats for affordable prices (just make sure you check the materials!)
j. crew also makes amazing peacoats and winter coat variations that are warm and fashionable. i have three coats from j. crew that i am constantly getting complimented on!
i’ve been wearing coats from this random asian site my mother found for me for forever, i’ll ask her what it is and post it when she gets back to me!
if you’re ballin on a budget, i would definitely try thrifting for a coat. just look at the materials the jacket/coat is made of to make sure you’re getting something that will ultimately keep you warm. i have made the mistake of buying a coat that looked SUPER warm only to find it was mostly a polyblend fabric and did nothing to keep me from freezing. look for wools and cashmere blends, and if you’re open to vintage furs, fur is the warmest thing out there.
boots wise, i am ALWAYS down for a good pair of sorels. you can style them to fit any style (i can help if you get mixed up!) and they will keep your toes toasty in sub arctic temperatures. other than that, frye boots are classic and made of great, durable materials and you can easily layer wool socks in them to keep your feet warm (and hopefully not too sweaty haha)
