i want you on me.

today i feel kind of like a fairy princess. something about long flowy dresses make me so happy.

i was having a conversation with my mother the other day about how we get to be the way we are, how things that happen when you’re a child influence who you become as an adult. she told me she remembers when i started loving clothes and fashion. she would (still does) wear these long flowy maxi dresses, and she remembers me being 3 or 4 and loving the way her skirts would trail on the stairs as she walked down them.

i wanted MY skirts to do that. and started altering my clothes to emulate that graceful, elegant swishing train that i loved so much about her outfits.

anyway, this is kind of how i feel today with this long train trailing behind me everywhere i walk. and these huge shoes.

happy today. and i love it.

resting my feet after walking all around the SoWa open market today.

finally got to wear my unif dress, and rocked out these new pumps (both purchased here).

snagged a vintage leather purse from the 70’s, and almost melted inside the awesome vintage warehouse. must go back when it isn’t sweltering outside.

all in all, a lovely sunday.
