if/when i do get married, i will be wearing a dress like any of these.

one day

we will have a cabin in the woods

and we’ll tell stories to our kids and their kids about this fast paced life we used to lead, while sipping hot cocoa that’s overwhelmed with tons of tiny, gooey marshmallows and laughing about the simplicity of just being.

and perhaps we’ll even have a swing like this to push each other on in the lightly falling snow, basking in the delight of being together and not having to worry about anything.

someday we’ll have a room like this, in our cabin on the water. and we’ll fall asleep here under the stars, and wake up to the glorious sunrise.

and then go back into our cabin and entangle our limbs into each others and fall back to sleep in a darker room.

i adore windows.

when i eventually buy my own house, i want there to be one room in which at least three of the walls consist of windows.

this morning i woke up with the sunlight gently caressing my eyelids.

what a lovely way to wake.
