the weather is getting to me. all i want to do is build a huge pillow fort in the living room, complete with cushions and furry blankets and comforters.. and watch aladdin. while sipping hot cocoa overwhelmed with mini-marshmallows in my most cozy pajamas. is it spring yet?

today i feel kind of like a fairy princess. something about long flowy dresses make me so happy. i was having a conversation with my mother the other day about how we get to be the way we are, how things that happen when you’re a child influence who you become as an adult. she told me she remembers when i started loving clothes and fashion. she would (still does) wear these long flowy maxi dresses, and she remembers me being 3 or 4 and loving the way her skirts would trail on the stairs as she walked down them. i wanted MY skirts to do that. and started altering my clothes to emulate that graceful, elegant swishing train that i loved so much about her outfits. anyway, this is kind of how i feel today with this long train trailing behind me everywhere i walk. and these huge shoes. happy today. and i love it.

boys hate harem pants.  but i love them. especially these ones cuz of their fun pattern and WARMTH. functional and fashionable.. unless you’re trying to make a guy fall in love with you because apparently these pants make your ass look awful. luckily i don’t care. my legs are warm. and cozy. and i kind of feel like a bad ass. all wins in my book.
