and while i don’t miss that person, when i listen to this song it takes me back to that time. that summer of laughter and easy friendships and backyard barbeques, JP Licks ice cream, long walks, south shore beaches, acoustic sing-a-longs, late nights, and all the carelessness and easy happiness that youth should entail.
